Injuries reported after car slams into DDOT bus on Detroit's west side

Detroit police are on the scene of an accident involving a DDOT bus on the city's west side.

It happened at Curtis and Meyers, near the Northwest Activities Center.

Police say a car was traveling at a high rate of speed when it slammed into the bus.

No one was killed, but there are reports of serious injuries - including to children who were on the bus. They are being treated at the hospital. However, no condition have been released.

The bus driver is facing questions from police after leaving the scene. However, the driver did return to the scene a short time after leaving.
