DETROIT (WXYZ) - A 39-year-old motorcycle driver was killed this afternoon after, police say, he was hit by a car from behind by a car.
The 19-year-old driver of the car was taken into custody.
It happened at McNichols and Hubbell on Detroit's northwest side. Investigators tell us the biker was in the left turn lane when the car hit him. He died at the scene.
Police say they don't know at this time if alcohol was a factor or if the driver was distracted. The investigation continues.
