DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police say one person is dead in a multiple shooting on the city's west side.
The scene is near a Marathon gas station at West 7 Mile and the Southfield Freeway. Surveillance video from the gas station shows a tan vehicle pull up next to a black vehicle.
A gun can be seen emerging from the vehicle and opening fire on the car, which comes to a rest near the gas station.
Police say three black men were inside the car driving northbound on the service drive when another vehicle pulled along side and opened fire. The driver of the car was killed.
The conditions of the other people shot is not yet known.
The suspect vehicle continues northbound on the service drive.
The two other people in the car were taken to the hospital. One of them is in serious condtion. The other is in temporary serious condition. They have not yet been identified.
