Investigators with the Detroit Police Commercial Auto Theft Section say four teenagers are in custody, suspected in at least two recent carjackings and one attempted carjacking.

The two 14-year-olds, two 15-year-olds, and a 16-year-old were all carrying fake guns that looked very real when they were taken into custody early Monday morning at a bus stop near McNichols and the Southfield Freeway.

One girl is among the suspects.

Anyone with any information on carjackings or stolen cars is urged to call H.E.A.T. (Help Eliminate Auto Theft) at 800-242-HEAT where tips can result in cash awards as much as $10,000.
