Detroit police are investigating after two people were shot and one person was killed at a home on the city's west side.
We're told the shooting happened after 8 a.m. Sunday morning at a home on Meyers just south of 7 Mile.
A young mother was the victim who was killed, and there was another man who was shot, police say.
The other victim chased the shooter across the street to the back parking lot of a Home Depot across the street. The store is closed while police investigate.
Police say a 24-year-old man is in custody as a suspect in the shooting. The suspect and the man who was shot are brothers.
