A 35-year-old Hazel Park man may soon face multiple charges in what, police say, was the attempted murder of his wife.
The 33-year-old woman may not even be alive if not for a veteran police officer from Grosse Pointe Park.
The officer was working undercover in the area of Lyford Street and Gilbo on Detroit's east side, an area known for dumping stolen vehicles, when he spotted the man's pickup truck parked oddly in a field.
