We've been following the story of little India Williams, the 9-year-old Detroit girl who was paralyzed after she was shot while riding her bike in September of 2014.

Williams was featured in our documentary "Beyond the Bullet."

Well-known attorney Mike Morse felt compelled to help her out, even though she's a complete stranger.

Morse and his staff raised thousands of dollars for a device that allows her chair to operate hands free.

Morse says, "When I saw your recap two years later, and she was having trouble keeping up. I just want her to keep up."

Dozens of his staff members were on hand Wednesday to meet Williams and see her try the new wheelchair attachment.

Her mother tells us, "It's unbelievable to see that people care and she's touched the hearts of so many."

Her mom admits her daughter had trouble keeping up with kids, and would get tired manually rolling her chair, but those days are now over.
