It was supposed to be some innocent good fun, but something went terribly wrong.

On Saturday night, police were called to this home on Corvair street, off of Dodge Park and 15 Mile after reports of shots fired.

According to police, an altercation started after a group of teens were kicked out of a party.

But the mother of the birthday girl, who goes by the name Kat, spoke to 7 Action News.

She hosted the affair and said no fight ever happened, that instead a group of teens from another high school showed up at the house uninvited and attempted to join.

The mother says she denied them entering because the party was over. Once they were told they couldn't come in, the mother says at least one of the boys opened fire, firing several shots in the air, then shooting this single shot into the front of the home.

The party goers on the inside immediately ducked and crawled, but a 15-year-old boy had already been hit, leaving the mother shocked that it all unraveled on her watch.

"I feel violated...I'm hurt, that could have been anyone in there, if I had let them in, just imagine what it could have been," she said.

That victim is now hospitalized in stable condition.

Today in court, one of the 3 suspects was arraigned. 17-year-old Timothy Johnson was charged with two felonies. The second suspect in custody is a 15-year-old boy who police have not yet named, while investigators said they were still searching for a third.

Johnson's bond was posted at 10 percent of $100,000.

As for the 15-year-old suspect, he is expected to be charged in juvenile court.
