A Clinton Township elderly man was left tied up and robbed, during a home invasion Tuesday morning.

Police say a 75 year-old man was in his yard, and when he walked into his house, he came face to face with an intruder who had a gun pointed his way.

The suspect then tied up and proceeded to take several guns, coins and the homeowner's brand new car: a 2017 red Jeep Cherokee.

The victim's family declined an on camera interview but says the man was not seriously hurt.

Police are asking for the public's help in locating the vehicle, with Michigan plate CJZ 5010.

They're also looking for the suspect, which they describe as a black male, 5'8, about 220 pounds, dark hair, and roughly 30 to 40 years old.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Clinton Township police.
