Quinten Hines came to Madion's Pub in Mt. Clemens on St. Patrick's Day to get some food, but says he won't be back after a bartender used a racial slur.

Hines, who is a former NFL player for the New England Patriots, says the bartender told him to pay, and then pay using the n-word.

"I need to talk to the Manager," Hines said he told the bartender. The bartender responded by saying he was the manager.

When Hines paid his tab and left, he looked at the receipt in the car. "I was labeled from the time I got in there as the, 'black guy,'" Hines said. It was printed on the receipt.

Hines has lived in Mt. Clemens for five years and loves the community. He said he felt he had to share the story. Since posting it on Facebook, hundreds of people have expressed outrage.

A post on the Madison's Pub Facebook page said the will be immediately investigating the manner.
