Warren Police are continuing to investigate a crash that sent six people to the hospital.  A pick-up truck plowed into a bus stop at 12 Mile and Van Dyke.

Warren Police confirm four women and two men were injured, all are in varying conditions, at multiple area hospitals.

Clarence Wilson witnessed the entire incident, he was also waiting for the bus, but because of the rain it was too crowded and he and another man went to a nearby awning.

"Hit the whole bus stop, the lady that was sitting on the front end seat, flew out of the glass and was right there on the ground,” said Wilson.

"There was four people smashed on top of each other right under the truck,” said Wilson.
Police aren’t sure why the man driving the pick-up crashed, but he is in custody.

"All we can tell from witness accounts is that he lost control, so we don’t know if it was a combination of weather speed, it could be any number of factors,” said Warren Deputy Police Commissioner, Matthew Nichols.

Christopher Loftin was working at the Subway right next to the bus stop.  He said he couldn’t believe what the driver did after the crash.

"The guy who did all of this, walked into the Subway and used the bathroom and then walked out,” said Loftin.

"Calm and collected after he created a whole bunch of carnage that was terrible, I don't understand what kind of human being would be capable of doing something like that,” said Loftin.

Police are questioning the driver.
