The Macomb County Sheriff's Office said a man was stabbed to death early Sunday morning at an apartment complex in Macomb Township.
According to police, deputies were called to the Northport Apartment Complex off Hall Rd. near Garfield around 1:06 a.m. Sunday.
When deputies arrived, they found 21-year-old Brian Shepard suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
After investigating, deputies found Shepard was at the apartment with his roommate and two other people when he and his roommate got into a fight. During the fight, Shepard was stabbed.
A 26-year-old man was taken into custody and is currently at the Macomb County Jail.
