An 11-year-old Saint Clair Shores girl is thrilled to have her nine-month-old dog, Sugar Bear, back home.
But this happy homecoming comes after nearly a week of anxiety and frustration.
Most frustrating - the family spoke to a man and woman who found the dog, but they said they wouldn't give her back.
Sugar Bear went missing five days ago in St. Clair Shores, near 14 Mile and Harper.
Emily Evoe was heartbroken, fearing she'd never see her beloved dog again.
Someone from Eastpointe returned the puppy after seeing the story on 7 Action News.
The Evoe family says the person who returned the dog made a huge impact on Emily.
