A church in St. Clair Shores is going to great length to keep trouble-makers out of its annual spring festival.

The church paid $21,000 for a temporary fence. It is just a three-day festival so we're talking about $7,000 a day for the fence - but organizers say it's worth it.

Last year at Saint Joan of Arc's annual spring festival saw a brawl between 5 teens.

So now a temporary 8-foot high privacy fence surrounds the entire festival.

In addition to the fence, festivalgoers now have to pay a dollar to get in and kids under the age of 18 have to be accompanied by an adult after 6pm.

Reaction to the fence is mixed.
