In what is becoming a growing trend, a local couple has filed a lawsuit against the popular game Pokemon Go.
Scott Dodich and Jayme Gotts-Dodich, from St. Clair Shores, filed the lawsuit against Niantic Inc., Pokemon Company and Nintendo Company in U.S. District Court in Northern California.

The lawsuit alleges the companies illegally placed Pokestops and Pokemon gyms on private property without consent.
In the complaint, they say players are encouraged to "make unwanted excursions onto the properties" and it is an "ongoing invasion of their use and enjoyment of their land."
Both Scott and Jayme are asking for a percentage of all revenues made from Pokemon Go and that all Pokestops and gyms be removed from Wahby Park.
Scott and Jayme live on a street across from the park, and said most of the players at the park didn't follow signage saying that Revere St. was a private road.
"When Mrs. Gotts-Dodich asked a Pokemon Go player to leave her property, she was told to 'shut up b****, or else," according to the complaint.
