MT. CLEMENS, Mich. (WXYZ) — Survivors of domestic violence and sex assault have created quilts and photos as part of a special exhibit for Turning Point in Macomb County.

The organization offers emergency support and prevention services.

One photo is called The Bridge to Safety. It was taken by an 11-year-old girl who wrote a caption "Like Turning Point the bridge helps survivors get to the other side.

The exhibit opened Saturday at the Anton Art Center in Mt. Clemens. It will run through October 10.

Surivors will be on hand tonight at a reception to discuss their work from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
