Two people have been arrested in connection to an attack on a teen with Brittle Bone Disease, according to a representative from Warren Public Safety.
A man, 18, and a woman, 23, turned themselves in Tuesday morning as a result of pressure from neighbors and family and are now in custody.
The woman allegedly threw the brick at Deszirae Jenkins, 16, following an argument at Jenkins' home that turned violent.
The incident happened on Monday at an apartment near 8 Mile and Van Dyke in Warren.
Jenkins is in the hospital and her family members said she has at least seven broken bones.
