Warren (WXYZ) - Warren Mayor Jim Fouts is hitting the streets with police this fourth of July.
The mayor will take part in enforcing the city's fireworks ordinance.
He will start patrols with police around 9:30pm Thursday.
Anyone whose fireworks damages property or injures someone will face heavy fines.
You may have to pay up to $500 and you could even be arrested.
The mayor feels that his show of support will go a long way in enforcing a zero tolerance policy.
