Warren Mayor Jim Fouts will be given the opportunity to run for another term as mayor.

Voters in his city have passed a revision of the mayoral term limits law, increasing the number of terms that can be served from 3 terms and 12 years to 5 terms and 20 years.

The measure passed 52.7% to 47.3%.

Fouts was currently serving his final term under the old term limit law.
