The Pontiac Silverdome was finally demolished last winter, and now, fans of the building have a chance to own the MDOT road signs for the Silverdome.

Beginning Monday, Sept. 10, people can bid on two road signs featuring the Pontiac Silverdome. The bidding will be open through Sept. 24.
The two signs are each about 7-feet by 14-feet and weigh about 225 pounds. They are in good condition. According to MDOT, they usually recycle old signs but there have been people interested in the signs so MDOT is putting them up for auction.
