Michigan's first mall Chick-fil-A will open at the Somerset Collection this morning.

When the mall opens at 10 a.m., the restaurant will also open. It's opening just four hours after the first stand-alone Chick-fil-A opens in Lansing at 6 a.m.

Located in the third floor food court, the restaurant will bring 50 new jobs. The first 100 people will have a chance to win free Chick-fil-A meals for a year.

A family-friendly overnight First 100 party happened overnight on the top floor of the parking garage at Somerset Collection North as guests try to be one of the first 100 people to get Chick-fil-A.

Participants must be 18 years old or older, and be at the front entrance of the Somerset Collection North concierge desk no earlier than 10 a.m.

The restaurant will be open Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. serving a full lunch and dinner menu, but will close on Sundays like all Chick-fil-A locations.
