PONTIAC, Mich. (WXYZ) — Christopher Keen still maintains he’s innocent. But an Oakland County Judge sentenced him to 18 to 60 years in prison on several counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct with a student he abused for two years starting when the survivor was 15.

The assistant prosecutor read a statement from that man, now out of high school saying Keen, “owned me. And he knew it.”

Keen was convicted by a jury last year.

Keen is 59 and it is not clear if he will get out of prison on parole.

Judge James Alexander said if he does, he needs to know that he is a sexual predator.

Keen was accused of sexual assault back in 1992 when he was a teacher in Birmingham, but was able to sidestep it and plead guilty to simple misdemeanor assault.

One of those two survivors came to court today and said Keen has finally faced justice.

Keen owned and taught in the Kaleidoscope Studio for the Performing Arts in Clawson. It has now closed.
