LYON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — Police are investigating an altercation between neighbors in Lyon Township.
On Sept. 14, deputies responded to an address on Boyne Street inside of the Kensington Mobile Home Park on the report of a felonious assault. The caller told police that the altercation was between her boyfriend, a 30-year-old Lyon Township resident, and a neighbor, a 27-year-old Orion Township resident.
She told police that during the altercation, the neighbor produced a BB gun and shot the victim in the face and chest. One of the BBs lodged in the victim's nose.
Police say the neighbor fled the scene before deputies arrived.
The victim was treated at the scene. Police searched for the suspect in the area but were not able to locate him.
