Called out for an attempted theft, a man’s mug was posted in a private Facebook group for all those who live in the Prestwick Village Golf Club subdivision, in Highland Township to see.
The man who posted the picture said he caught the culprit snagging delivery boxes from a resident’s front porch.
As the thief was trying to get away, the Good Samaritan snapped some photos of the thief’s temporary license plate as well.
He posted the pictures because he wanted to alert neighbors to be on the lookout.
Deputies at the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department cannot confirm the original poster made a police report. They advise the public that any time you witness a case like this call your local police.
