Shots fired at Northland Center mall; No injuries

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) - As four people were being escorted out of Northland Center mall, shots were fired Saturday afternoon.

Mall management confirmed to 7 Action News that security officers were in the process of removing the people from a common area when one suspect became angry and fired a gun.

No one was hit and there were no injuries.

Security officers had stepped in to remove the people from the mall because they were being disruptive, mall management said Saturday.

Three male suspects were taken into custody by Southfield police who are investigating the incident.
