FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) — Farmington Hills police are investigating a shooting outside of a hookah lounge.
Early Sunday morning, a dispute escalated into a parking lot shooting outside of the Lush Hookah Lounge on Orchard Lake Road, near 13 Mile Road.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
The lounge's owner said that a group of people walked in to use the restroom right before closing time. Shortly after they walked out, shots were fired.
Police say that they do not believe it was a random attack.
Several other closed businesses were damaged by gunfire.
Police are looking for a dark-colored SUV believed to be related to the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call Farmington Hills Police at 248-871-2610.
