A woman takes Birmingham Police on high speed chase and reaches nearly 100 miles per hour. Monday, officers released dash cam video of the incident.
It happened Thursday around 4:30 a.m. on Woodward near 14 Mile.
Officers started to chase the red Dodge pick-up truck driven by 26-year-old Brooke Summers, but she continued to act dangerously, running lights and speeding excessively.
Birmingham Police terminated the chase, but Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies were able to catch up with her at Telegraph and Dixie Highway and take her into custody.
She would not tell officers on the scene why she was speeding.
Summers was arraigned in court and now faces a felony charge of fleeing a police officer.
