9-year-old Greyhound gets support from around the world as he struggles to recover from attack

Jack, a nine-year-old Greyhound who lives with his family in Lincoln Park, is struggling to walk again after a recent dog attack left him seriously injured.

Jack is being treated at Blue Pearl in Ann Arbor and two other animal care centers for injuries to his spinal cord and legs.

Kathy Johnson and her husband were walking their two Greyhounds, Jack and Guinevere, near their home when two dogs attacked Jack.

Jack is on the mend and receiving support from people around the world after Kathy created a Facebook groupto update his new fans on his progress.

7 Action News reporter Kimberly Craig met up with Kathy and Jack as they stopped by Blue Pearl veterinary hospital in Ann Arbor to say hello to the staff.
