When someone stole Carol Shaul's son's bike, the Taylor mom took to Facebook hoping someone could help them find it.
Her 18-year-old son put a lot of money and time into the bike and needed it to get back and forth to work.
The first tip included a picture of a young man riding the unique-looking bike.
The next tip included the man's location.
"He was riding on the sidewalk," on Eureka near Inkster said Jeff Shaul.
Jeff then jumped in his car to try to get his stepson's bike back.
He located the suspected thief who claimed someone gave him the bike, and he didn't want to give it up.
Jeff said he "bum-rushed" the stranger and told him he was calling the police.
The young man who had been on the bike took off running.
