There’s a golf course controversy in Taylor, where one family who lives next door says the golf balls are coming dangerously close to their children and have damaged her property numerous times.

She says she's made complaints and nothing has been done.

It's nice to live near a golf course - but what happens when the golf balls end up in your yard?

Unless it's an ace or birdie these golfers are hitting, Samantha Woolum is not happy.

She has lived next door to the Lakes of Taylor Golf Course for more than four years and has spent lots of money fixing things that golf balls have damaged, after going over the net and into her driveway.

Samantha says she's complained to managers but nothing has been done.  She wants to see the net raised higher.

We went to the golf course. We were told while safety is key, they can't always control golf balls leaving the course, but they do plan on looking into what's been happening to Samantha.

The folks here say they are going to take a look at the netting and claims made regarding damage.

In the meantime, Samantha says if the golf balls continue to go into her yard, she may have to move.
