Tuesday witnesses testified that Bashara, who is known as a church-going businessman is actually a cocaine-using criminal who was having an affair.

That witness he once gave Bashara 50 grams of cocaine, which is worth more than $7,000.

The defense has tried to discredit some of the testimony say the witness himself is a criminal.

Handyman Joe Gentz has already pleaded guilty to the murder of Jane Bashara. But he has since said that Bashara both paid him and made him commit the crime at gunpoint.

Gentz is currently in state prison.
