Nicole Armstrong has not seen her 16-year-old daughter Maria for a week.

Maria is a Special Education student in Hamtramck and was supposed to meet a girlfriend and two boys at Veterans Park after leaving school early.

The girlfriend did not show up.  Maria never came home.

“Maria would have come home. She’s not going to leave with two guys, period, point blank, okay,” Nicole tells 7 Investigator Jim Kiertzner.

The boyfriend appears in pictures with Maria on her Facebook page.  We are not naming him or showing him as the missing persons investigation continues.

Nicole made a report last week and has been getting updates from a detective. She’s also been posting Maria’s case on social media but nothing solid has development.

Nicole fears the worst, “either human trafficking or he did something to my child. He was the last one with her, to talk to her. He’s been lying too much.”

Anyone with information can call Hamtramck Police at 313-800-5281 ext 354 or call 911.
