Police have given the all clear after shutting down the parking lot a the Walmart in Dearborn, located at Ford Road and the Southfield Freeway.
During the time incident, people inside the story told us they are not being allowed to leave in their cars.
Both Dearborn and Detroit police were called to the scene.
The Dearborn bomb squad was called out. A technician examined the device and found it was not dangerous.
