Two school Livonia Public Schools buses were involved in an accident in Westland at about 4:00 p.m.
The accident took place at Ann Arbor Trail and Middlebelt Road. One bus rear-ended the other.
Two students riding on the buses suffered injuries and were examined by emergency personnel. One was transported to a local hospital with a cut to his head.
School officials were said to be on the scene shortly after the accident. Additional buses were brought to the accident scene and students were sent on their way home.
