HIGHLAND TWP., Mich. (WXYZ) — A 34-year-old Pontiac man who is listed on the Sex Offender Registry for life was arrested at his place of work after he allegedly exposed his butt at a park in Highland Township and a witness recorded the incident.

According to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, Brian Dean Pochron was at Dodge Park #10 on Aug. 23 when a resident allegedly saw him pulling his pants down near a pavilion at the park to expose his butt. The resident said Pochron then got on his stomach across a picnic table with his butt exposed.

The witness videotaped the incident with his cell phone. That's when Pochron ran to his vehicle, covered his license plate with a t-shirt and drove away.

A deputy with the sheriff's office recognized the suspect from a previous indecent exposure incident in the area, a release states.

After Pochron's arrest, he told officers he was "fishing" to see if the witness was interested in him, which is why he exposed himself.

Pochron was arrested on Aug. 26 and arraigned the next day. He was given a $10,000 cash surety bond with no 10%.

According to a release, in 2013 Pochron was convicted of second-degree criminal sexual conduct on a child under 13. He served time with the Michigan Department of Corrections. In 2017, he was convicted of indecent exposure after being found laying nude on a walking trail in Highland Township. His probation for the 2017 incident ended in July 2019.
