A report by consumer insight website J.D. Power, North American airports have ranked high on the 2018 passenger satisfaction list.
The report says, "North America airports have managed to shrug off the potentially disruptive effects of record passenger volumes and massive construction projects to achieve a record high in overall passenger satisfaction."
Improvements include these five factors:
- Check-in
- Food, beverage and retail
- Accessibility
- Terminal facilities
- Baggage claim
Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport scored third place with a 775 score of out 1,000-point scale.
Las Vegas McCarran International Airport and Orlando International Airport tied for first place, each with a 781 score.
Overall passenger satisfaction jumped to 761, 12 points higher than last year’s study.
