It's the revival of a TV classic! We are talking about The Gong Show.

It's a talent competition that airs right here on WXYZ Thursday nights. A Sterling Heights man will be showcasing his talent on tomorrow's episode.

The talent competition is judged by celebrities and if they think your act stinks, they will bang on the gong to stop you.

Nick Thomas explained, "If you make it through the Gong, they give you a score at the end and the highest score at the end of each episode wins a $2,000.17 prize."

He will do a juggling act on Thursday night's episode.

"Watched some old Gong Show episodes to see what would be a good fit for the show. I created a character for it and they contacted me after I submitted a video and they liked it."

His character name is 'Nerdy Nick.'

He has been juggling for more than ten years and has been doing it professionally since the age of 12.

The 21-year-old just graduated from college with a software engineering degree.

But he's hoping his talent will land cash in his hands.

He said, "I can't say too much, you will have to tune in to watch, definitely a great episode lots of fun tons of cool acts on the show."

The Gong Show airs Thursdays at 10 p.m.
