(WXYZ) - One of the legends at Broadcast House, retired anchor woman Robbie Timmons, got a very special honor Monday night.
She was inducted into the Michigan Broadcasting Hall of Fame by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters.
Monday night, Robbie was honored for being a broadcast pioneer who has distinguished herself through excellence in broadcasting.
Robbie spent more than two decades on Channel 7 and was the very first local female broadcaster to anchor a 6 and 11 o'clock newscast.
