ROCHESTER, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Rochester Community Schools board of education said Friday that members of the school community made threats toward them earlier this week.

In a post on Facebook, the board said that people "made aggressive personal attacks and threatened physical violence toward our administrative team."

They didn't say exactly what happened or the circumstances surrounding the alleged attacks and threats.

Earlier this week, the district did announce that it would transition back to a temporary remote learning environment every day for all students.

"We support the work our administration is doing to move RCS forward during these uncertain times and ask the community to model patience and resilience to all of the children who are watching," they said in a statement.
