Two weeks after promises were made to address neighbors concerns about a salvage yard business, the problems still exist, and neighbors are beyond frustrated.

For the residents on Robson Street, their neighborhood isn’t what it used to be, but it doesn’t mean they don’t care.

They work together to clean up debris, keep the park clean and maintain their lots. They believe their efforts are hindered by Ryan’s Auto Salvage.

The business backs up to their neighborhood and is easily seen from the roadway due to the improper fencing.

Ramon Jackson told 7 Action News, neighbors don’t want to cause problems, they just want the salvage yard owner to maintain his property and put up a proper fence, similar to the fence at the company’s Ferndale location.

Following an 7 Action News Report, talks have taken place between all parties involved, including city officials.  However, neighbors claim other than trash being removed, little else has been done, and they want the problem resolved.
