An elementary school in Massachusetts has decided to cancel Halloween and instead celebrate "Black and Orange" Spirit Day.

According to CBS Boston, Boyden Elementary School in Walpole will not have its annual Halloween costume parade beause it can be difficult for many students.

"Also, the parade is not inclusive of all the students and it is our goal each and every day to ensure all student's individual differences are respected," the school's principal said in a letter, according to CBS Boston.

There there will be Halloween part after school hours, but Halloween itself will be "black and orange" spirit day, according to CBS.
