Submissions are currently open for the Detroit Pistons' annual 'Reading Room Makeover' contest.

The schools are able to be submitted into the contest.

The school that is picked will win a completely renovated library or reading room, which includes new paint, carpet, furniture and technology.

It is accepting submissions until June 2.

The Pistons have renovated 34 facilities at schools, community centers and hospitals in Michigan.

The 34th facility was last year's 'Reading Room Makeover' contest winner - Doyle/Ryder Elementary in Flint.

The winning school will be announced in July and the project will be completed by the end of summer.

The new reading room will be unveiled with a special ribbon-cutting event in the fall.

The contest is presented by Farm Bureau Insurance.
