(WXYZ) - A search is under way for a former Grand Valley State quarterback.
30-year-old Cullen Finnerty reportedly went missing Monday after he failed to return from a fishing trip the night before.
He was fishing near his cabin and Bray Creek State Forest Campground about an hour north Grand Rapids.
Authorities say crews found a small pontoon boat Finnerty was using to fish.
Finnerty played for Brighton High School before playing on a Grand Valley State team that won Division II titles in 2003, '05 and '06.
He also briefly played for the NFL's Baltimore Raves.
If you have any information on Finnerty's whereabouts please call police.
