7 Action News was there as FBI agents raided a home on Jonathon St. in Dearborn this past Thursday night.

Calling it a “national security issue”, a source tells 7 Action News, a Lebanese man was taken into custody.

The focus of the investigation is centered in another state, but the person and supporting materials they were looking for—here.

The FBI has been tight lipped about their investigation, but that has only fueled wild speculation.

Shortly after we broke the story, conspiracy theorists and Alt Right websites started claiming the home is linked to former Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, a Michigan native, suggesting the raid could be part of the FBI’s inquiry into Clinton’s email scandal.

The 7 Investigators started digging, cross checking those claims with property records, finding that neither the owner of the home, nor the reported suspect taken into custody match any of Abedin’s siblings.

We also consulted with the FBI today; they had no comment. But sources who would know, tell us, the claims are downright false and nothing more than internet fodder.
