The Oakland County Sheriff's Office confirms it is investigating a quadruple shooting in Pontiac that left one dead.

Authorities say the shooting happened around 4 a.m. in the 50 block of Thorpe.

We're told a 23-year-old man died from his injuries and three others: a 17-year-old woman, a 17-year-old man, and a 19-year-old man were transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds.

The sheriff's office says all three of the other victims are expected to survive.

As far as what led up to the shooting, the sheriff's office reports that its deputies are getting conflicting statements from the victims and that the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information on the incident should call the sheriff's office.
