SMART is looking to hire 50 drivers and 15 mechanics at a job fair in Troy on Monday, Sept. 24.
Those who are interested are encouraged to attend the job fair at Automation Alley.
Full-time employees will receive benefits including health insurance, vision and dental care and a pension plan, as well as free transportation on SMART, DDOT and other transit providers in the region.
Training for drivers will begin in October, but SMART will continue to accept applications until all positions are filled.
Applicants can apply before the event or while at the job fair.
The job fair will be held at 2675 Bellingham Drive in Troy from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Interested applicants are encouraged to dress for an interview and bring resumes. For more information, click here.
