Someone stole special needs boy's wheelchair in Roseville. Have you seen it?

ROSEVILLE, Mich. (WXYZ) — Roseville Police need your help finding a stolen wheelchair belonging to a special needs boy.

Police say the wheelchair was in a vehicle that was stolen between the hours of 4 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Saturday. They received information that the wheelchair had been thrown from the stolen vehicle on Buffalo Street and Amrad Street in Detroit.

The stolen vehicle is a gray 2014 Chrysler Town and Country Minivan. The wheelchair is black with the name "Nathan" in blue letters on the front of the chair.

Officers responded to the area but the wheelchair was gone. The chair was taken from the location by an African-American man driving a brown "scrapper truck," according to police.

Roseville Police are asking residents to keep an eye out for the wheelchair and notify them with any information about the person who stole the vehicle.
