Sources: Detroit CFO may be asked to resign Tuesday

(WXYZ) - The 7 Action News team has learned a meeting today could seal the fate of Detroit's chief financial officer.

Sources tell us Emergency Manager Kevyn Orr has called Jim Bonsall on the carpet to tell him to "do the right thing."

We're told that doesn't mean apologize, it means resign.

The city launched an investigation of Bonsall last week. He's been accused of making racially insensitive comments and creating a hostile work environment.
