Discussion over a regional transit in southeast Michigan is heating up.

A Regional Transit Authority Board of Directors meeting will be held today to vote on whether to adopt the Regional Transit Master Plan to ensure that it is included on the November ballot.

The original vote, scheduled for July 21, was postponed to allow the RTA time to respond to questions from Oakland and Macomb counties about revenue and other projections in the plan.

The meeting is expected to be held at 1 p.m.
