ROSEVILLE, Mich. (WXYZ) — A St. Clair Shores police officer is being evaluated for a possible concussion after a suspected intoxicated driver hit the officer's cruiser early Sunday in Roseville.
According to Michigan State Police, the officer was responding to a vehicle crash on westbound I-94 at Little Mack Avenue at 3:10 a.m. The officer's cruiser was blocking the right and center lane of westbound I-94 when the suspected impaired driver, a 34-year-old man, hit the parked police car.
It appears that alcohol is a factor in the crash and the investigation is continuing by the Metro North Post.
